Veterinary Technician Jobs in Kenmore: Position Overview

Holly Vet Clinic is hiring an experienced Washington-licensed veterinary technician (LVT) for a full-time position at 6016 NE Bothell Way, Suite G, Kenmore, WA 98028. This role is ideal for a technician who enjoys hands-on dentistry, anesthesia, surgery, and patient care in an independent general practice.

What You'll Do

• Perform periodontal charting, full-mouth digital dental radiographs, scaling, and polishing.
• Assist the veterinarian with dental extractions and surgical procedures.
• Place IV catheters, assist with anesthetic preparation and induction, and monitor anesthesia and recovery.
• Prepare surgical patients and equipment, manage prescribed CRIs under veterinarian direction, and document care accurately.
• Collect blood and other diagnostic samples, perform appropriate cystocentesis, and run in-house laboratory testing.
• Maintain dental, surgical, and anesthetic equipment and communicate clearly with the veterinary team.

Dental workflows commonly include approximately two dental procedures per day.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State Licensed Veterinary Technician credential required.
• Prior clinical experience as an LVT, including veterinary dentistry, anesthesia, and surgical assisting.
• Proficiency in dental radiography, periodontal charting, scaling, polishing, IV catheter placement, and phlebotomy.
• Strong medical documentation, organization, communication, and patient-care skills.
• Ability to lift approximately 40 pounds.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer $32–$36 per hour based on experience, plus a competitive signing bonus for an experienced technician with strong dental and surgical skills.
