Cherry eye occurs when the tear-producing gland of the third eyelid prolapses, creating a red bulge in the corner of your dog’s eye. While it may look alarming, it’s a common condition—especially in breeds like Bulldogs, Pugs, and Frenchies—and treatable with surgery.

What to Expect After Surgery
This is an outpatient procedure—your dog will go home the same day. We provide post-op eye drops, pain relief, and a recovery guide. Most dogs return to normal activity within two weeks.
